icon meme and that
Apr. 19th, 2009 20:19![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
I originally tried to do this while listening to Baystorm, but as it turns out, my Japanese comprehension is pretty terrible when I'm typing in English. Go figure. Also, Nino speaks so quickly and mumbles, and there aren't those helpful highlight-captions like on Japanese television. So I had to concentrate while he was talking and type only when he played songs, and even then I only got a little bit of it.
WHY DO I SUCK AT JAPANESE.
At any rate, an icon meme stolen from Cami!
Default:

KenKen will also be my default. ♥ I really liked how this icon turned out -- the effects on the background make it look really cool, and the coloring is nice. Bonus points for using Fastball lyrics.
Oldest:

Classic Tezuka-buchou. Mostly I like the polkadot cup he's drinking from.
Newest:

Ohmiya. Their love is so beautiful.
Saddest:

It's only really sad in context, though. I don't have any sad icons.
Happiest:

I have a ridiculous amount of happy-looking icons, but this is the only one with the word in it.
Angriest:

I guess in theory it's this guy, but I don't necessarily use it as an "angry" icon. Ichigo just looks delightfully unapproachable is all.
Cutest:

Butterflies and flowers and pink. D'aw.
Sexiest:

Not a lot of "sexy", either, but Oh-chan looks so good here, and the loose-tie thing is definitely in my top-three fetishes (following glasses and vests/suspenders). Ah, Oh-chan.
Funniest:

Okay, not that funny, but I use it for funny moments. Colin Firth, guh. ♥
Most political:

I suppose if I used this in response to some kind of political injustice, it'd be political. Mostly Sakura's cute.
Most offensive:

KENN!Yuuta is such a badass. Ah, I miss KENN.
Favorite relationship:

Het. Apologies.

ToriShishi. Let's ignore the fact that they're still in middle school, ahahahaha...

This may be the first and last RPS couple I follow, but HOLY SHIT do I follow it. They make it so easy... And fanfiction, whut? Regular universe, AU, drama crossover... It's all good.
Favorite fandom:

This (by which I mean Tenimyu) was my first legitimate LJ fandom. Tenimyu/Tenipuri is probably where I made most of my random LJ friends. (Other friends come from an old, old fandom, which was my first internet fandom and to this day closest to my heart. You know who you are. ♥)

A few months into this fandom, and I can't get enough. Thankfully, the fandom has been healthy for a while and doesn't seem like it'll die down anytime soon, so there's plenty here for me to catch up and keep up with.
Most used:
It really depends on whom (or in what fandom) I'm responding to, but some frequently-used ones:

Favorite(s) of the moment:

Neener.
Favorite you made:

It was the first time I utilized my tablet for something, and the faded color vs. the bright writing looks pretty okay, if I do say so myself.
Favorite overall:

I make most of my icons anyway.
How many icons do you have total?
78 (out of 197 slots, what).
Do your icons make a statement about you?
I apparently like pretty boys, especially when they're with other pretty boys. Also, I'm fairly positive and happy.
What fandom do you have the most icons of?
Arashi with 17. They're so iconable.
What 'ship do you have the most icons of?
Technically, it's ToriShishi (four), but one of those is Tenimyu!ToriShishi, one is doujin!ToriShishi, and only two are anime!ToriShishi. If you don't count Tenimyu, ToriShishi is tied with Ohmiya at three.
How do you categorize your icons?
"[fandom] character/person ~ icon identifier". If there isn't a particular character, it'll be "[fandom] icon identifier".
Are your icons made mostly by other users?
Mostly by me. They're not very good, but I don't like to have things that other people have, so I make my own.
Do you make icons?
See above.
Are they any good?
See above.
Animated icons are...
fun. I don't like them when they start in one particular position, end in a completely different position, and loop back to the beginning without some kind of frame or break in the middle that ties it together. It's jarring.
In general I think icons...
are useful in personalizing posts and conveying emotions. Unfortunately, I pay too much attention to the emotions/fandoms of my icons when I post, so some get overused and some I'm pretty sure have yet to be used.
ETA: I know your name now, bwahaha.
