yay Christmas break && Kamakari stuff

[I really hope you guys appreciate these stupidly fangirly posts, because I never really have anything interesting to say. I guess my LJ is sort of like a "change of pace" amongst the amazing/thoughtful/philosophical/serious posts (if you exclude caminante... but dude, you're insane... do you really count...?) out there. ~_~]

Had a wonderful time at lunch at Fiddler's with Rae, Beth, Claire, and Bobby... Maybe I should be social more often... >_>;;

And to revert back into my normal self, here's an update on the insane Kamakari photobook OMFG-I-need-it thing (for anyone who cares).

So yeah... We'll see how it goes. I have faith in Akadot Retail, though (that is, they should be able to manage it unless it's a really obscure/exclusive/Japan-only item), so all I really need to worry about now is keeping enough money around to reimburse my parents for using their credit card. :/

And I'd like to quickly plug You're Under Arrest!, which is seriously one of my favorite series in the world... It's underrated/underappreciated like nobody's business. ~_~ Any series that has one of its seiyuu sing an image song called "PAWAA!!!" (as well as two versions - a normal version and a drunk/party continuation - of a song) is fscking awesome.

I can't decide on a sixth icon. I'm considering having a nice icon of Vicious and Excalibur, but on the other hand, you can never have too many anime/manga-related icons...
