ltgmarsLost my internet again. Well, lost my computer.
Again.
I'd rant about my parents (my mom especially, who's INSANE!!), but I can do that in the prettiful little journal thingie Claire found for me. Yay.
So if, for some reason, you've been wondering where I've been online (this applies to, like, -2 of you, I think), that explains it. My mom kicked me off the computer on Saturday after she saw me innocently checking my e-mail for five minutes while taking a break from physics, and after I was shooed up to my room (well, I went there voluntarily, so I can't call it "shooing"), I heard some rumblin' from below, which ended up being my father taking my computer downstairs (well, downstairser, as in "somewhere in the basement"). I sort of hate disappearing from the 'net with 4+ edits waiting on me (and well, I just hate not having a computer to, you know, do important school stuff on -_-). Well, it's not like I'm completely without computer/internet/leechar access (I can use my dad's computer when I need to, and I'm utilizing Diki's computer at the moment), but I don't have any of my music or my fansubbing equipment (codecs/programs, login info, etc.), so I'm still put out.
And I know I'm being petty about this, especially considering how spoiled I am, but I've always been petty about my computer. Deal with it. :/
So yes, Ayu-chan, could you please let the children know what's going on? ^^;; I'll probably pop up every once in a while to leech stuff, but I really can't do anything productive until I have less restricted computer access.
In other news, I skipped watching the Quiz Bowl match today (I definitely wasn't in the mood to try to find Riley :/), so I popped into Media Play to see if they had Bebop Remix 3 (which is set to release today). Seeing that they didn't, I headed off to Best Buy, which didn't have it either. They did have Genshiken 2, which I'd've picked up if I had two more dollars (I only had exactly enough for a $19.99 + tax DVD), and they also had Sukisyo 1 for $14.99 (shounen-ai series always seem to be insanely cheap... what's up with that? :/ I mean, it's not that I don't like cheap stuff or anything, but that's sort of like they're assuming no one wants it... ~_~), which I would have picked up if I hadn't already "budgeted" my money for the month.
And yes, I only budget my money when it comes to buying anime. I'm practicing diligently for when I "[don't] get into college" (-Mother) and end up "[screwing myself over in life after I drop out of high school]" (-Mother).
At least I know I'll have my family's support when I'm a bum on the street, though.
