school & Kamakari

ltgmarsNew semester started today~!
Period 1: AP Physics C [old] - I found out that I got a 39% on the final (highest I heard was our trusty valedictorian Rob, who got... 60-something?). ._. But Mr. Kloser used the AP grading scale, so that somehow turned out to be a C, which doesn't hurt my semester grade. XDD
Period 2: AP Calculus BC [old] - We all apparently got "F-"s on our finals, but Wojo also used one hell of a curve, so I got a C on that final, too (or at least that's what he told me and Sean last Thursday). Also doesn't hurt my semester grade.
I wonder when I started being happy about getting average grades in school. ~_~
Period 3: AP Microeconomics [new] - Yay, Mrs. Chismar!!! Boo, stupid macro assessment test thing... I completely forgot the basics of macroeconomics... I'm such a failure... ._.
Period 4-5: Advanced Instrumental Ensemble [new] - This should be a fun class. I have to bring Vicious to school every day, which makes me really paranoid (especially since Vicious isn't insured... I'll have to talk to my parents about that), but it kind of forces me to practice, even when I don't have time to, so at least I'm getting something out of that class. XD
Period 7-8: AP Government [new] - I'm usually pretty good about paying attention in class, but I completely zoned out after about ten minutes. Not a good sign, especially since I struggle particularly in social studies. ~_~
Period 9: AP English Language/Composition (Brit Lit H) [old] - I had a feeling that Mr. DePauw was trying really hard to stay on task today... Poor guy... ^^;; But yeah, nice class. We talked about Donne's "Meditation 17"... interesting read, even though Celmer pulled weird ideas out of his ass. Again.
Period 10: Apologetics (AP ologetics... hahaha) [new] - I get to start and end my high school theology career with Mr. Hamann! He's such a fun guy, even if he's a crazy Church nut like Bobby says he is. ._. And we talked about suffering and stuff. Which tied so nicely into the English discussion, but I didn't feel like bringing it up since no one else in there would have appreciated it. ._.
And yeah, I can't end my post without something fangirly, so I'll just post a link to Kamakari's blog. I swear he's trying to kill us all... So cute... ><
I wish I could read Japanese. Seriously. Stupid, frickin' annoying,adorable, orgasmic kana. ~_~
