Well, okay then.
Apr. 13th, 2006 14:32My throat's closing up, and my face stings sooooo much... T_T And in other news, I figured out which medication I'm allergic to. :/
And now for something happy and random... And maybe I'm too young for it, but it's kinda neat.
TWENTY YEARS AGO --
My parents were married eight months ago. Diki was conceived two months ago, and I'll be conceived in nine months... but I don't really want to think about that.
FIFTEEN YEARS AGO --
We came to the States three years ago. I'm 3.5 years old, and I'm probably freaking adorable.
TEN YEARS AGO --
Second grade in Miss Burgess's class. Rachel P. came to St. Joe Grade School a month ago, and she'll end up being my best friend for the next six years. I have the most ridiculous crush on Nick R., and I'll continue to have that crush for another three or four years. Otherwise, second grade is just second grade. I'm doing really well in school, and I'm beginning to appreciate my education.
FIVE YEARS AGO --
Seventh grade with Mr. Thomas, who introduces us to the joys of the Chicago Cubs. I'm still kinda worried that he doesn't like me, since I flicked the lights off and on in the girls' bathroom that one time a few months ago, but he doesn't seem to be that adverse to my being there. I get a C on my report card, which kinda stings against the straight A+'s I've been getting since we started getting letter grades in fourth or fifth grade. (Naturally, I suddenly realize just how much I hate history.) Math and science classes are split up between the two seventh grade classes into the "advanced" class and the "regular" class. I'm in the "advanced" class. In fact, I'm in the "advanced-advanced" math class, so Joshie and I spend math class in the hall "doing math" (read: contemplating life's greatest mysteries, including that whole chicken-egg thing).
THREE YEARS AGO --
Oh my gosh! I still can't believe I'm in high school! It's so different, and I get to take so many cool classes and everything! Br. Ed bothers the heck out of me, but that's okay, because we're mostly freshmen in that class, so I know we're going to be talking about our freshman year experiences for years to come. :D I'm best friends with Claire, because she rocks (I sadly never really appreciated our friendship in grade school), and we sit ourselves at a secluded table in the corner of the cafeteria during lunch every day. I'm shocked when she sits me down at the lunch table and -- very gravely -- tells me that she used the word "damn". To think that Claire would cuss! Well, at least I haven't cussed yet, so it's okay... Hm, Adam M. seems to really like me, and it's kind of sad because I don't feel the same way, and he's kind of creepy, and I never should have talked to him during health class earlier this month, but I guess I couldn't help being friendly. :( He pops up at our lunch table sometimes, though, and Claire can't look at him because he does this thing where he plays around with his pop can until he cuts his fingers.
ONE YEAR AGO --
High school sucks. I've never been this stressed before in my freaking life. I'm taking, like, a zillion AP classes (basically all of the same classes Rob is taking except that he's taking AP Calc BC... and I can use Rob as a standard because he's probably going to be the valedictorian next year), and of course, AP tests are coming up next month. My grade in AP US History stinks to high hell, but Mr. Matthys is cool (except when he's talking in graphic terms about how the "stallion mounts the mare"), so it's okay. I'm considering doing something chemistry-related in the future, since I really kind of like it. Too bad Mr. Dolezal can't teach to save his life.
YESTERDAY --
I'm staying at home today, because I woke up this morning all happy and sore and stuff. And today's the day the Econ kids can wear their t-shirts... :( But at least I don't have to take that stupid calculus test from before break, though I kinda wish I could just get it over with. I watch a little bit of Blood+, and it's getting pretty interesting. [insert Alan's "blood" sound effect here] I still think the korean madness clip on YouTube is the best thing I've seen in a long time, though. Actually, I find the mp3 and stick it on my iPod (it's all Alan's fault). In other news, I love LiveJournal more and more every day. I'm considering writing something up for
tenimyu_rating. I've actually finished up that stupid English paper, and I'm taking the golden opportunity of day-offness to study for a few quizzes I'll have when I go back to school tomorrow.
TOMORROW --
Good Friday. Good. Friday. No school, which means I'm spending the entire day editing the episodes of Blood+ that have been waiting on me. I otherwise do nothing of note, though I realize that I have a bunch of homework to do... I kind of enjoy the fact that I haven't been to school since Monday (and that I won't be back until Tuesday, since we have a day off from school on Monday). Oh, and the second episode of Kamakari's radio show airs tomorrow, so I'm getting ready to record it, yay. :D
Ten episodes of Blood+ to go until I'm caught up. Blahhhhh (but OMFG, Solomon). XD
