You're Under Arrest! Full Throttle is going to be airing this fall in Japan.

YUA! is coming back! I'm so excited. It's my FAVORITE SERIES EVER. If you guys who keep up with anime online could give it some love this fall, that'd be wonderful. Because it's so good. Though the plot is a little ridiculous and cutesy, the characters are amazing, and the seiyuu are just fantastic. And I need to find the old character albums that I lost when my hard drive crashed. I have a few songs salvaged and loaded onto my iPod, so when I can, I listen to the old classics like OO-FOOKU (in which Nakajima plays the guitar and sings a song while Miyuki, Natsumi, and Yoriko listen/talk loudly... so good!) and the Narita version of LOVE SOMEBODY (that was such a good episode).

Also, if Nakajima Atsuko's doing more YUA! stuff, maybe she'll eventually release another artbook! Tsuya was what, 2004? She has Toribura and PuriPuri she could do as well.

Hm... I wonder if I could get Shinsen to sub it... I guess I'd have to make a glorious return to fansubbing, then. XD

It's kind of hard to get into (and stick with), to be honest, but I think what made it for me was the characters. I fell in love with them, and they're still some of my favorite characters ever.

Oh, no doubt at all, I did like the characters (as you might guess, my favorite was Yoriko). I just think the plot line could have been a bit more engaging.

Mm, I'm torrenting it via boxtorrents right now (I'm kind of sick of watching my old bootlegs-with-bad-English). I'll bring it to school on my hard drive. Just a couple more weeks!

Fansubbing is fun when you're working with a good group. But it's a huge commitment... it takes so much out of life, especially when there's a certain deadline you have to meet, and you end up being like, "Eh, screw school and friends. I have to edit this tonight." Or you go take care of school and friends anyway and get a bunch of death glares from the fansubbers. (I've been in both situations.) I'm glad I took a break after Blood+ was finished, but I kind of want to wean myself back into it.
