Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid is just as great as I remember it. Action, adventure, romance, drama, all that stuff. Unfortunately, I didn't quite remember just how unnecessarily violent it was, but eh. The opening theme is cute?

Kaname/Sousuke is probably my favorite pairing ever. I'm pretty sure they beat out Aoshi/Misao and even ToriShishi. (What? She picked het over shounen-ai?!) Kaname and Sousuke do so much for each other, and it's just so wonderful to watch one kind of relationship develop into another as they come to understand each other and themselves. They're both unbelievably strong characters, but they still depend on each other and learn from each other, and it's really freaking heartwarming.

One of the reasons I hate the idea of Tessa/Sousuke isn't because I dislike Tessa or even because I think they don't have chemistry; it's just that I believe in Kaname/Sousuke so staunchly that anything else just doesn't make sense.

I was thinking today about getting the FMP! light novels, because apparently more romance stuff happens later on. They're being released, slowly but surely, in English, but in Japanese they're seven books ahead, and I want to know what happens~. It'd be good for my Japanese, certainly, but awful for my wallet. D:

Maybe I'll just stick to fanfiction, which satisfies my appetite pretty well (thankfully, there are some fantastic Kaname/Sousuke fic writers). The franchise will probably come out with more seasons (pleasepleasepleasethatwouldbeGREAT), so we'll probably get to see the rest of what happens anyway.

FMP <333333 My fav was the first series. Fumoffu was fun, REAL fun, but i liked the first series more because it had lols and srz biznes balanced out nicely. TSR had a whole load of fight scenes and bleeding and story-building, which is really the whole point of a show, but ah i found it a bit draggy at times. Rabu rabu progression between Sousuke and Kaname was sweet though, if still infuriatingly slow DDDD: And yes! Tessa is an awesome person, i realise, but i couldn't help glaring at her just a little bit for putting the OTP in danger XD;;;;

Yeah, I feel like FMP! was the good all-around one, FMP?F was the crack one, and FMP!TSR was the ultimate fighting mecha one. It was hard to stay afloat in the gobbledygook technobabble, but the action was shiny. *_*
