who wants my leftover paid account time?

So when I tried to pay my parents back for the plane ticket to Japan, they told me to pay me back after the trip. I've been saving up money so that I could pay them back all at once, but they wouldn't take it, which was a really, really bad decision on their part. Since they left (they were here for Thanksgiving), I've been hemorrhaging money. To be fair, some significant chunk of that was spent on ink for my printer, but since rediscovering the joy and curse that is Y!Japan Auctions and eBay and the interwebs in general, I've been a horrifying, unstoppable force.

Long story short: I'm going to buy a permanent LJ account. In two days I'm going to have some leftover paid account time (~9 months), and as I understand it, I can give it to someone else. So, if you want it, let me know. (Don't be shy, now. I don't want to let it go to waste.)

Yes, Japan is my winter break getaway vacation. Isaac's there teaching, so my parents are letting me visit. :D The ticket was ridiculous, but it'll be well worth it.

So I was recently reminded of this one time when I tried to send you a birthday present as a surprise (years ago), but because I was consistently getting the address wrong (I left out your house number or something), it never got to you. It was a stuffed doggy, and he came back to me about a month and a half after I tried to express mail him to Spain. The reason I remembered is because I realized he's one of the stuffed animals on my bed that doesn't have a name yet. He's light brown, curly-furred with short ears and a little fluffy muzzle area and a red bandanna tied around his neck. I've had him for a while now, so I don't want to resend a "used" stuffed doggy, but do you have any thoughts on what his name should be?

I'm going to Japan over winter break. Isaac and I maneuvered money and schedules such that I could go visit him for three weeks. I'll be there for Christmas and New Years. It'll be adorable. :3

I'm sorry I'm so late in answering but you caught me on a trip... to Paris!! First time I go on vacations since I don't know when (it's been at least six or seven years since the last time I went on a trip >.<).

Ooooh, the doggy must be adorable >.< You could call him Kai, short for Kaidoh, because of the bandana thing and the laughs we've had together with tenipuri. Plus, you know, Kaidoh is so totally a plushie himself ;) Hug and squeeze it for me, will you? :D

It'll be great to spend your Christmas time in Japan. I'm so jealous!! I hope you have the greatest of times.

I love your long comments, by the way, and your entries and knowing from you. If we ever get to spend time together in IRC again it will be great (but my schedule is kind of tight lately so I barely have time for anything non work related >.<).
