I had my Japanese presentation today. It was okayish. Much better than the last epic failure of a presentation that I had. This one was more fun, too, because I was presenting Japanese games, and when I got to janken, I got to play part of the backstage clip in which Kenken demolishes everyone until Date comes by and unwittingly defeats him.* I dunno, I enjoyed it. :3 I'm glad that it's over, though... now all I have to worry about for this week is my papers, which for the life of me I can't seem to want to start.

I suppose for tonight I'll get outlines of both, tomorrow I'll do one rough draft, Thursday I'll do the other, and Friday I'll revise as much as I can.

*Since the revelation of Date's bout of displeasure with Tenimyu, I've unfortunately seen him in a different, much less flattering light. I was rewatching some old videos of songs and stuff, and I couldn't help but frown at him whenever he sang. It used to be cute how he cried all the time, but now it's like, "Seriously, you're crying? You don't even like being on stage there." I dunno. :/

Oh man, that's so disappointing! I'm kind of over my tenimyu obsession, really, so at least it doesn't hurt as much as if I found out about that when it was posted. I also thought he was just being shy in his performances.... Guess not. :( Oh well.

It's a shame, really. He was pretty adorable. ("Was" being the operative word here.) I'm pretty happy with Yuu-chan, though, so s'all good.

Pfffttt. That confession changed everything. I re-watched DoriRai 3 sometime ago, and I scowled everytime the camera focused on Date. :|

It's really funny how simple words like that can change so many people's outlook on something. Of course, what he said was so unprofessional and uncalled for and disrespectful, so it's natural that it has such ramifications. But still, behold, the power of words.

Eh, not all of the tenimyu actors are inevitably going to enjoy it, though it does beg the question why did he even bother auditioning in the first place if it wasn't his thing.

That's okay, though, since we have two new Ohtoris and they're pretty darn cool! :)

I mean, it's his prerogative to think it's boring and to not enjoy it, but he shouldn't be saying that to his fans, many of whom know him and love him because they got to know him and love him through Tenimyu. And the stuff about mouthing the words and singing "blah blah" is particularly rough to hear, because so many people were touched by his performance and thought that he was really trying his hardest. Having all of that shattered for them is a huge disappointment, and I just can't get over how crass and disrespectful to the other myuboys -- who do take it seriously (or at least don't voice their unhappiness with it) -- and the fans he was. D:

But yes to new Ohtoris! :D :D :D
