1. I've been gobbling up Ohmiya fics for the past few days. And I don't even like RPS. (Though apparently I do, ahaha.) What's happened to me?

2. Been waiting for my stupid package to arrive. It has the rest of my Arashi concert DVDs (which will complete my collection -- yes, I spent too much money buying LEs and OOPs and LULZ on Y!Japan Auctions and currently owe Harrison $400).

3. Nino looks good with short hair, though I'm still not quite sure what to think about the short, spiked-up thing. [Reference: Believe (not-long-enough version).] At least he doesn't look like MatsuJun a fop like when he had his hair long. With short hair he looks so much more "boy next door" and so much less "I'll stroke my bandmates' bodies on-camera just to get a reaction from the audience". Though I guess it's always the latter with Arashi.

4. Waiting patiently for another episode of UtaOnii. Echoing someone's (it was one of the Vs, since they're the only ones who actively follow the series/post about it) sentiments that Akane needs to skedaddle already.

5. When I'm old and grey, I'm going to get a cat and name him "Oh-chan" and rub my face against him all day. You think I'm kidding.

6. For how I feel whenever I see Ohno, please refer to point five (5).

"one of the Vs" You know, that's about the nicest way someone's ever put that, I think. We refer to ourselves as Team V. Makes it easy. And it was probably both of us who said it. Team V does not endorse Giselle. Giselle is dumb and we'd rather the show bring back Himura-Ohji. Pantsu Ohji was fun and Giselle is boring and threw away their Oh-chan. They deserve punishment.

Nino's short, spiked thing is...not too good, I think. I prefer shortish but still longish (shorter than One period Nino but not as short as his current hair). MatsuJun gets carried away with the extensions. This is because MatsuJun is the Gayest Man on Earth, even if he may like women. He fights hard to keep his title, even though I don't think anyone else can possibly come close to stealing it from him.

Don't forget the Arashi calendar comes out at the end of the month! :D

I bet Ouji will be back. They had that poster of his in the last episode (or the episode before that?). I'm sure he'll shimmy for us just when we need him. *_*

I first started to like Nino when he had his hair really short and boring -- during the Sunrise NIPPON PV. He was just so... normal-looking. Like the charming kid who's kind of nice and quiet. And then I found out that he's actually a loud, obnoxious, whiny, cocky brat, but he's cute so whatever. All of that just adds to his charm anyway.

No comment on MatsuJun.

Also, no comment on the calendar. I'm limiting myself to shiny DVDs, else the anal completist in me will take over and I'll end up constructing my home out of my laptop and all of the Arashi merchandise I have. :/

1. Sigh, I remember when I first discovered Ohmiya. You couldn't tell me anything, I just knew it was TREW LUV and not fanservice. :') Although no one can ever convince me Nino is a heterosexual.

2. So... teach me how to buy things without guilt? I want the new concert DVD so badly, but my conscience berates me for even considering it.

3. There are people in Arashi who aren't Satoshi? I am glad Nino's hair isn't long anymore. But I feel the new cut is unflattering somehow. He looks so tired, so much older.

5. I have a kitten; her name is Ohmiya(n). I also call her Neener Peener, and Cap'n Tushi. Yes, my friends find me insufferable.

1. I think it appeals to me moreso than any other RPS I've come across because it's actually within the realm of possibility for Ohno and Nino to be that touchy-feely. There is that sense of favoritism, I think, that shows up in their usual habits of sitting together or petting each other or whatever, despite the fact that much of the time they are playing it up for the fangirls. (Also, I do see how the one-sided Nino -> Ohno thing could be spectacularly not-heterosexual).

2. It's not guilt as much as it is knowing that when I'm out of college, I'm actually going to have to start paying for my own food/heat/electricity/housing, and since I make so much work-study money, I should enjoy being able to use it freely. (That said, I do feel guilty about spending so much money. I just do it anyway.) Re: new concert DVD -- I ordered it. D:

3. Somehow I think it's better for him to look older than to look eternally trapped at 20 years old. That boy never, ever looks his age, though I guess none of them does. (I always have to defend myself when my friends see my Arashi wallpaper and ask why I'm listening to such youngsters.)

5. Pixplz. Also, if you really want to be obnoxious, you should dress her up in an Ohmiya SK outfit.

1. I'm on the other side of the fence; I'm a huge RPS fan. It started with Beatles slash (...) when I was a young'n and went on from there. Ohmiya was the first (and only) time I tinhatted about a couple. But Nino changed a lot in the last year, and I'm still getting used to it. He's so cynical I can barely imagine him liking anything, sex included. Dammit Nino.

2. I pay for my own food (shoulda kept a meal plan :D!) now and it has made me very cheap. I cry bitter tears a lunchtime. But, seriously, I'm going to order the DVD today because: one, Ohno's hair during this era is my favourite and 2. I like Ohno's hair a whole lot.

3. Don't lie, your wallpaper is actually of Heisei Jump.

5. MY KITTEN, LET ME SHOW YOU HER. This picture is kind of old; she's much more rubenesque now (she was spayed about a month ago). She's the grey one and her sister (who belongs to my cousin) is the skeevey one behind the chair.

1. He is really cynical, isn't he? I just got into the fandom a few months ago, so I figured he was just like that, but looking back on older variety shows and such, he seems a little grumpier now than he did. Nino, please smile more yes. (On another note, I'm sure if there's anything that Nino would enjoy, it's sex with his Oh-chan.)

2. I actually pay for my own food, too, but since I don't actually use the kitchen the way I should, I usually just get my friends to swipe me into the dining center or buy things on my bookstore account (paid for by my parents). Good, healthful things like Chef Boyardee and cheesy poofs.

3. Chinen? Really? How old is he? Also, my voice was never that high and cute, even when I was five.

5. Kittenkittenkittenkitten. Lookit. So cute. *_* Though sister kitty does look like a skeever. I wonder how much longer they'll have those "innocent" blue eyes.
