Fandom n00b, I know, but I just discovered "Oretachi no Song". Amazingamazingamazing.
[YouTube]
Obviously more exciting if you understand Japanese (especially the cracks they make about each other), but it's probably still pretty wonderful without said understanding. Though maybe (possibly, probably, most likely, definitely) I'm biased.
Also, part of me doesn't feel like I owe this to you since it's my journal and "I do what I want", but I do want to apologize to those Arashi non-fans on my f-list. They've kind of taken over during the past few months (with some interspersed posts about random things and the love of my life). I realize that Arashi maybe isn't accessible to everyone (in fact, there's only a handful of people on my f-list who know them at all) so if you've been bored by my obsession lately, well, I mean, that's just how I am. Boring and obsessive. So sorry for being me, I guess.
... dunno quite where I was going with that. Just wanted to say it, though. ILU all. ♥
Off to Japanese! I didn't study for my test because I kept watching that stupid amazing song. (See above link.)

:x I constantly apologize in my journal as well. Blogging comes with some sort of weird obligation, sometimes. ... Well, I'm glad you're an Arashi fan. Or else
I couldn't stalk youuh, yeah, I... couldn't stalk you? So. And we wouldn't have bonded over this:I skipped Chinese class today! And now I feel guilty. D: Lame shame gene (that's a good name for an Engrish song!)

Date: 2009-03-30 21:18 (UTC)And yay Arashi! Questionably passing as heterosexual men, bringing girls together all over the world.
*OhnoOhnosqueesqueesquee*
I have the lame shame gene, too.no subject
Date: 2009-03-30 22:58 (UTC)... what's you favourite arashi pv? is it... lucky man? i just forced my best friend to watch it, and she was mortified, shunning arashi for forevermore. but why! it's so awful, yes, therefore it's a masterpiece. i am hoping i'm not alone on this.

Defriend her."Lucky Man" is easily near the top of my list of favorites. Top-top might be "We can make it!" (it has all of the singing and dancing and rapping and funny outfits, plus adorable and easily-digested pastel colors), and others around there are "Happiness" (so happy!), "Naisu na Kokoroiki" (we needn't get into the nitty-gritty details of my glasses/suspenders fetish), and "truth" (in which Ohno is like walking/singing/dancing sex). Actually, when I really think about it, I like them all (because my answers are usually half-assed like that).no subject
Date: 2009-03-31 04:57 (UTC)Don't get upset, but that just may be the greatest thing you'll ever say.
I think we do indeed need the nitty gritty details of your suspenders fetish.
EDIT: Er, I meant to clarify that, yes, I know it's an apron, but I like to ~pretend~
hah. Er, have you seen Nino's How's It Going? (still the lulziest name for a CD, ever) tour camera? You know, where the infamous 'nasiu final beam' came from? I am unsure how ~n00by~ you are, but this piece is essential to fandom. In case you are unfamiliar, it was put on Youtube recently (with subs, which doesn't matter for you, but was excellent for me, since I self-translated it and for years thought they were saying... strange(r) things).

Now, really. You couldn't have paid me enough to be in the same room with them after/ before a concert during this period. But seeing hyper Ohno and happy Nino always rekindles my Ohmiya love.
Why do they have to grow up?no subject
Date: 2009-03-31 18:13 (UTC)I have seen the How's it going? tour cameras. They're so good. *_* And as far as my n00bishness goes, I've seen their concert DVDs (did I mention my needing a complete collection?) and scraped a little through YouTube, though I'm always finding something new whenever I hop on. What eventually I'll need to watch is all of their older stuff (TV shows and guest appearances and the like). Ahh, so much work ahead of me... I still don't know where things like Sho's "CHESUTO" come from.
If you have any other "essential to fandom" videos or pictures that I should be aware of, please let me know. I want to be the best scary fangirl I can be.

Date: 2009-04-02 01:32 (UTC)I will diligently ferret old videos to you, when I can remember anything except how amazing Jun looks recently. And, as for CHESUTO, I think it's simply from an old MMA where he takes off his shirt and taps his chest and says that. Although, not sure on specifics. Been a long time. Also, my interest level in Sho... who's Sho? :Dv
