Yeah, "Portuguese" is the adjective for Portugal, but I'm just wondering why they didn't name it "Portuga" so that "Portugal" could work as an adjective rather than a noun. ~_~

Get Backers hasn't been released in the US yet. The first DVD comes out (optional box) on the 24th (ahh, so close! I can feel my wallet getting lighter already!), so it's safe to say that it hasn't been aired on TV yet. Even if it were aired, it'd probably be on The Anime Network, since that's the channel that ADV (the company that licensed Get Backers) owns.

*shrugs* I'm hoping the dub is really good.

And yeah, "Philippine" and "Philippines" do sound like adjectives. :D
