I got my glasses.

I can see! Well, I could always see really well, but things are sharper. Nnf, now I can spend so much more time on the computer without getting a headache~ (Also, of note is that this is the first picture I've taken with my haircut + makeup + glasses. This is the "new me", if you will.)

I think the toughest part is going to be getting used to wearing a pair of glasses that have an actual prescription. I keep doing the thing where I duck my head to compare my glasses vs. non-glasses view of the world, heh, and my dad just laughed at me for it. Whatever, whatever.

Haha I didn't even know I needed prescription glasses until I tried on my friend's glasses. I'd always thought that the whiteboard markers were fading. That was the only time that I kept taking the glasses on and off until my friend said my eyes would get worse if I kept doing that.

W00t glasses, looking good! I've had glasses since I was six, everything's really, really blurry without them :p I also have a square-shaped pair (because it looks better with my roundy-round face). I actually prefer my glasses to contacts which seems to put me in the minority usually :p

And thanks for plugging the Yamada Tarou dorama~ Had a marathon with my friend, I think we smiled through the whole thing. ♥ And how cute is that Nino(?), wth.
Also, it seems every dorama I've watched lately has someone from Arashi in it (I didn't even know it was a band at first, it just kept popping up everywhere). After YTM, my friend was all "let's watch Hana Yori Dango, I wanna see it again" and hey, it's someone from Arashi again! Now we're watching Gokusen and look, it's the same guy from Arashi again XD;

Actually, my brother is also someone who prefers glasses to contacts. He cites ease of use and not having to deal with dry eyes after long days wearing contacts. I cite stylability. :D

Ahh, I'm glad you had fun watching Yamada Tarou Monogatari. Nino(!) is so, so precious. And yeah, JE dramas abound. I didn't realize until I really got into fandom how many popular dramas are JE dramas. Jun in particular is a storied drama actor (whether or not his acting merits it >_>), as is Nino.
