You! Explain your username to me. I bet there's some kind of meme for this, but I'm just curious and not armed with a meme, so forgive me for asking it in lame question form.

For those of you who've known me for a while (some of you going on ten years! crazy!), my username hasn't changed (it hasn't changed for those of you who've only known me for a short time, either, but you wouldn't necessarily know what it means): "LTGMars" is the combination of "Love That Gohan" (from Dragonball Z) and my favorite Sailor Senshi, Sailor Mars. (Yeah, okay, you can stop laughing now.) It's been my username for about as long as I've been on the internet, wherever I've been on the internet, and I don't plan on changing it.

oh god i've been through like...a bajillion screennames, but i think i just...like this one the most. it's kind of ~edgy~, apparently, as someone on a meme said, but the reason why i chose it was because idk, at the time, i was going through a lot of shit with friends and identity and ~who i am~ and whatever, as most college kids spend some time on at some point. and i just began to realize that all my efforts at trying to stand out and not conform was dumb and a waste of time and a form of conformity in itself. that i was from a cookie-cutter upper middle class family and, while everyone has issues of their own, mine were far from severe or tragic. generally speaking, i lead a completely normal life, and trying to pretend that i didn't was tiring and annoying and fake. so i guess the screen name marks the beginning of when i accepted that i was just another normal kid -- the only difference was that i'd make 'being normal' my own. (i hope this made sense as i'm practically passing out on my laptop.)

I've had whisper132 for a very, very long time.

It was a typo, actually.

I meant it to be whisper123 but my fingers didn't work right and I processed 132 into my hotmail account on accident. The whisper is from an ancient penname I used. I came to really like the 132, though. I went by "quietwinter" a long, long time ago (named for my favorite kind of still moment) and have occassional stints as "sakurashadow59" (a Hunter: The Reckoning gaming handle from one of our games), but whisper132 fits my digital skin so I use it most often.

I was interested in languages in high school and decided I would create my own. Predictably, it didn't go down well--I just came up with random words that were interchangeable with English anyway, but one of the words I made up was 'aeslis', which was supposed to mean 'stars'. It's the only word I remember from that language.

Before Aeslis, I was Tsiako, because I thought it sounded Japanese--clearly I had NO idea how Japanese worked back then. ;) People kept pronouncing it "psycho" though, which kinda drove me crazy. 8)

Mine is...when I was in first year (3 years ago), I have a crush who's in section courage. All that guy did is to avoid me. Then, I have a friend who's a half-japanese. I asked her to translate courage in japanese and she said that it is yuuki in japanese. As for 7, it's my fave number ^_^

Well, it's kinda obvious where Datenshi Blue comes from (Aucifer's song for those who don't know).

However, when subbing I was Ayu-sama. This one comes from Ayukawa Madoka from Kimagure Orange Road. That was my forum name for Anime-Keep, way back in the day previous to my timing stuff and all that jazz. Previous even to livejournal and Datenshi Blue ^_^;;

For Spanish stuff I used to use Lucipher, but that's been dead for years now. So now I'm some variation of datenshi blue everywhere. It's too bad it's a well-liked name so I'm not always the first one to it :P

By the way, I loved the way DeathWolf turned your name into "Lt. G. Mars" LOL I had so much fun at that time :D

Mine is for stands for the black power ranger from the season called Dino Thunder. It was one of the later incarnations of the show but they brought back Tommy Oliver (green/white ranger from the original) as the black ranger! (yeah I loved that show as a kid, still kinda do) Totally had a major crush on him growing up.
Had this username for so many years, I use it for everything, I cant even imagine changing it.
