Day Six || Happy December!
Dec. 1st, 2010 13:16Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
(Doin' it partially in groups, because there are too many people that mean a lot to me.)
1. My family. They're good people, and they've come to believe in me enough to let me do my own thing far, far away from home.
2. Lloyd 20s (the dorm entry I lived in senior year) in general, but especially Suite Executive (Harrison, Will, Gabe). Stupid, stupid boys that they are, I miss them a lot. I really came into myself while I was with them -- as friends, as roommates, as colleagues, as co-conspirators, as critics, as confidants -- and if there's any group of people I'm determined to have a life-long relationship with, it's them.
3. Halley! We had a really serendipitous meeting (paired together as stand partners in the Bi-College orchestra freshman year; little did we realize we had the same birthday and would end up being best friends), which makes our friendship -- sisterhood, even -- all the more special.
4. Cami. She helped me solidify my academic interest in a way I hadn't considered and encouraged me to go on to do what I'm doing now, even if she didn't realize it. I'm convinced that if we hadn't met, I wouldn't be where I am right now. And that extends beyond just academics, really. She's challenged and changed me as a person in terms of the way I think and the way I respond to the world, absolutely for the better, and there's really not enough I can do to thank her for that.
5. (World's biggest copout.) You all. I have a large assortment of people on here -- high school friends (most of whom don't read this anymore, but I still love you!), old forum friends, college friends, fandom friends, RP friends. Obviously some of you I've grown very close to (virtually daily conversations for seven months running? I don't think that's ever happened to me), some of you I've drifted apart from (I don't even know what's going on in your life anymore!), and some of you I'm just getting to know (please keep me in your favor). But you're all a part of who I am now, who I was however many days or weeks or months or years ago we met, and who I will be from now on. Expect a lot of tears and laughter and ups and downs from me. It means so much to me that you'll be there when it all happens.

Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.
Day Ten: One confession.
