Day Eight || ugh why
Dec. 3rd, 2010 13:19![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Two lists.
A. Personality:
1. Intellectual curiosity. You don't have to know everything (God knows I know jack shit), but you have to want to learn.
2. Passion. Passion for what you're doing with your life or what you want to do with your life, passion for some esoteric hobby, passion for me~.
3. Courtesy/politeness. There are plenty of people who are kind and caring toward their friends and their loved ones, but I really love it when someone is nice to strangers or random passersby, out of thinking about how other people feel, or even just out of habit. (I had a really pleasant exchange this morning after some jerks in a car bowled through an intersection while I was crossing and the little man was still telling me to walk. The next person at the intersection gave me a wry look that said, "Well, that was rude, huh?" and he smiled and waved me through, and it made me happy.)
B. Fetishes (applies to all genders):
1. Glasses. The right pair of glasses can make anyone look 10x more attractive.
2. Ties. Just the tiniest bit loose, or mid-loosen. Oh oh oh or when people loosen their ties with a finger and kind of turn their heads in the opposite direction OMGGG.
3. Nice hands with long fingers. For men, I also kind of like arm veins, unf.
Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.
Day Ten: One confession.
RSVPed for a conference/workshop this weekend (Japanese Arts and Globalizations, for the UC schools) which seems like it'll be really interesting, but do I have time to go to everything? D: Just when I'm done with classes...

Commenting before I run off for work!
Date: 2010-12-03 21:33 (UTC)B1. I need you to come and help me convince someone at work this. They went on, and on, about how glasses are attractive on no person at all, and they won't stop (I should mention, this is that one co-worker that I can't stand).
B2. What's your stance on bow ties?
B3. Nice hands are always a plus, especially with beautiful nails! Ah, and on the arm vein thing, they collapse nicely... That's a bit weird, isn't it? Oh high school bio teacher.
Re: Commenting before I run off for work!
Date: 2010-12-03 21:44 (UTC)B1. I WILL COME AND HELP CONVINCE THE MASSES. I don't understand how people don't like glasses. They accentuate the eyes and the nose and the cheekbones and ahhhh I was so happy when I had to get glasses, as you remember. XD Also, I don't know, if this is your "beloved" coworker, it might already be a lost cause.
B2. I think they're cute more than anything else. Bowties in a certain setting are definitely unf, and I like to wear bowties myself, but for the most part I associate them with a friend of mine whom I don't find particularly... "unfy". (Actually, thinking about it for a few minutes, I do think bowties can be very unfy, so I take that all back. Too lazy to delete... maybe I'm turning into you. XD)
B3. They... collapse nicely...? Okay. I just like to touch them. *_* Once I was on a plane next a guy who had the most luxurious arm veins. Basically I spent that entire plane ride either sleeping or sneaking glances at his arm.
Hope you had a good day at work!
Re: Commenting before I run off for work!
Date: 2010-12-04 04:36 (UTC)B2. :DDD YAY! Bowties for the win! (Ooo, influence without talking to everyday XD)
B3. The do though, I've done it to the ones in my feet and hands (somedays I have weird veins, well, my feet are everyday seeing as I have man feet and all XD), though it's really just stopping the blood flow and sending the remaining bits up so there is a flattened vein... It feels weird actually (seriously though, I never would have known this if it wasn't for my crazy British bio teacher from high school). Wow, that was a bit of a ramble. Anyways, arm veins are cool *insert thumbs up here*
Thank you. :) It was better than I thought it would be.

Date: 2010-12-04 22:46 (UTC)i wasn't going to reply but . . .
Date: 2010-12-04 21:16 (UTC)you know i adore you, but this is such an annoying thing to say. why do you continue to antagonise me?
01. there are only two genders. i know the 'all' was on purpose, you grammar nazi. but it's seriously just 'both'. it's a fact. i can't even--
02. ~*~heehee i can admit to being attracted to women as well~*~ stop it.
these are my turn-offs, goodnight.
p.s. 'japanese arts and globalisations'? girl, the japanese have never made any art worth sharing (i'm talking to you, mr and mr nara).

Also, I'm not pretending to be a super-ally who ~*~understands~*~ and is ~*~sexually attracted to women~*~, so I don't know what you've been huffing over lately. That shit annoys me, too, I promise. I just said that I find the female body aesthetically pleasing and beautiful, which is true.
you know how ohno feels about okama.
Date: 2010-12-04 21:36 (UTC)ugh you guys should get LGBTQI* pansexual third gender married (which almost sounds fun, actually).
you don't think the tentacles in tentacle porn count as a third gender?
Date: 2010-12-04 21:41 (UTC)I think it'd be the best marriage ever. And since you obviously wouldn't be coming to the ceremony on principle, I suppose you can send us some votive candles in the mail, to pray for our third-gender loving souls.
