REMINDER: Maru fan letter project

HEY HEY HEY it's been 12 days since I last pimped Tey's Maru fan letter project, so you all have had sufficient time to watch a bunch of Kanjani8 stuff and fall deeply in love with Maru and decide to support him via this project, right? How are those fan letters comin' along~?

I just finished my draft, which I sloppily wrote and took a picture of, for my amusement more than yours:

I know this is just a draft, but I really admire the way you write your characters! They've got flair. And I don't mean to say that sarcastically, though it might come across that way--I mean it. :) Lots better than my Japanese handwriting, which looks like a 5-year-old boy wrote it...

Heh, I'm not-so-secretly in love with my own handwriting, so I always feel really fulfilled when other people seem to like it. XD My Japanese handwriting used to be terrible, but eventually I got it to be smaller and smoother and more natural, so I'm happy with how it looks now. Though apparently when I'm writing quickly, it slants to the left... hrm...

I'm sure your Japanese handwriting is fine~ (I kind of want to see it now!)

I think it's adorable! It's very much your own style, which I always like to see in handwriting in any language. (Explains why I'm such a sucker for fonts.) Mine is just--well, whenever I write kanji the characters tend to be larger than all the hiragana/katakana, and by A LOT. I'm not sure why...

Also this semester I managed to get the teacher that grades handwriting. Out of all my Japanese classes, this is the first time it's happened to me. I've had points taken off for my tsu's! And apparently my yu's aren't right, either. Sadness. Le sigh.

I have no scanner, but if I can take a good enough picture of my kindergarten handwriting, I will make a post! :)
