Day Seven || Cocoa Otoko.
Dec. 2nd, 2010 21:13Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever).
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
1. Smoking.
2. Ignorance, especially when it leads to bigotry. It gets me really annoyed really quickly. And I know the right thing to do is to sit the people down and tell them how they're being ignorant and why it upsets me, but I don't always have that kind of patience. There are a lot of ignorant people out there, and unless someone's proven to be really special to me and I want to tell him that the way he understands the world upsets me, I'd rather spend my energy on someone I don't have to lecture on the most basic things I care about. That being said, ignorance isn't a "dealbreaker" if it's a kind of ignorance that can be overcome or an ignorance that doesn't bother me, but I'm instinctively repelled from people who have grand ideas about the world or about people that I find troublesome.
3. Bad spelling/grammar. I judge people for it, harshly (though I know I'm no grammar queen myself). Some of my most beloved people aren't so hot with spelling and grammar, so it's not a personal fault that I can't overlook as much as it is something that will take me out of a moment of affection, even if it's just for a split-second.
4. Wearing clothes that don't fit you well. I mean, come on, know your own body. No one wants to see your boobs spilling out of a dress two sizes too small for your chest. *
* Have since come to realize that this is pretty egregious body policing. It's not on me to say what looks good or bad on someone. I prefer a certain look, but you can wear whatever the hell you want. :3
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two images that describe your life right now, and why.
Day Ten: One confession.
Cocoa Otoko.'s mini album came out, and it is lovely. There are really only three new songs on it, but it does come with a new PV, which you all will watch now:
I was watching the DVD earlier today and getting all nostalgic about watching Tenimyu in Osaka with Ves, Val, and Leigh. And how I was so good about containing my glee until the very end, when KenKen took a bow and I screamed for him. Ahaha. XD And then I followed Team V to the aquarium, and it was magical. ♥ Still one of the most wonderful days of my life.

Date: 2010-12-03 12:21 (UTC)2's hard to deal with on a regular basis. I imagine I'd get frustrated and fed up before too long, and that's no good in any kind of relationship, romantic or otherwise.

Date: 2010-12-03 18:14 (UTC)I pretty much agree with 1. It was so bad when I'm in Singapore because wherever I walk everyone smokes and I can't really stand it, haha. 2 and 4, I more or less agree with what you said but most of the times I don't really notice those things so it usually doesn't really bother me as much. Sometimes I feel that I need to be more attentive.

Date: 2010-12-03 20:30 (UTC)1. Ugh, I can't imagine that. Luckily I don't run into a lot of smokers, but I'd go nuts if I did. 2 and 4 I don't notice a lot, but I think it's because I naturally surround myself by people who are reasonable unignorant and do their best to dress themselves properly.

Date: 2010-12-03 19:39 (UTC)2. THIS!
3. I yell at many people all the time for their grammar, even though I'm not the best myself. There is a line though, that should not be crossed, ever. I also really hate it when people say "seen" instead of "saw" *will probably bitch about this one for the rest of her life*
4. You know, if the only problem is the boobs, it doesn't bother me at all (unless it's bras, because that is just not pleasant to look at, especially if they're just hanging), but when it extends to the whole outfit, something must be done!
no subject
Date: 2010-12-03 20:33 (UTC)3. Oh, I don't think I've heard the seen/saw thing, though I'm glad. It sounds really unpleasant.
4. Uuuggghhh ill-fitting bras are the worst. Which kind of sucks, because sometimes you grow and bras are expensive! but it's still uncomfortable to see.

Date: 2010-12-03 21:02 (UTC)3. It's extremely unpleasant, and the younger generation use it here all the time. The rest of us either head!wall, head!desk, or correct them loudly.
4. True to the expensive thing (men were complaining that underwear was expensive once, and I told them off, and said it's not so bad for them), but the ones who never get new ones after that happens... ugh.
