I'm alive!
May. 21st, 2009 09:25After three days of an on-and-off connection, I finally have interwebs.
During my time away from the internet, I've rediscovered the simple pleasures in life, like snacking on cookies (which honestly I don't do that often, even if the cookies are sitting there in front of me) and Gameboy Tetris. I'm hoping my summer will be just as stimulating and productive.
As for the rest of it, we managed to move everything over to the apartment in time and get settled in. Since Will specifically asked to have his own room this summer (so that he can have wonka-wonka good times with his lady friend) and Andrew isn't quite the kind of guy who would be okay with sharing a bedroom with a girl (also, he has his own lady friend) and we only have two bedrooms in this apartment, I'm stuck in the common room again. But hey, this at least forces me to interact with others (or offend them by sleeping through their conversations right in front of them), so it's all good.
I've had a few "serious" issues running around in my head for the past few days, but they don't really need to be said right now. Just random observations about my privileged life and holding onto old friendships and how ridiculously misogynistic Japanese television is, etc. We can get to them later, if you're interested.
For now, pictures. Cami wanted some. I didn't know what of, so I give you two:
