I'm completely serious about Princeton's application making me cry, though. 'cept the crying part. Oh, the wanting-to-kill-puppies thing still applies, though.

I've thrown out the following two ridiculous essay prompts:
3. What historical event of the 1990’s has most influenced your perspective on the world or your approach to life, and how? (Who keeps track of the real world, anyway? And I hate how they used an apostrophe for "1990s".)
5. What is your favorite quotation, and why? (Somehow I don't think they'll appreciate my qualification of Lorelai Gilmore's "Tom, I'm lovin' you like a two-dollar whore.")

I may as well throw out 4. Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way. in advance, 'cause I imagine that one'll end up having to do with my brother. Though maybe that'll be endearing or something. :/

If I finish in six hours, I get to go to Elizabeth's house for a new year's eve celebration. *rolls up sleeves*

I wish I could write an essay about my favorite quote... i could spit out like, three essays in no time flat. I'm a quote whore. Sadly, though, i can't spit three essays out about "a time when searching for answers helped me more than being handed the answers"...i BS-ed one, though, happily. :-D
