Ohtori birthday fanart!!
Jan. 16th, 2006 08:11And yes, it's a month early. But I couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to draw instead. It's been too long since I've made a real attempt at fanart (last time was, what, eighth grade? And I'm pretty sure it was back in the days when Claire and I graded each other's art... XD).
It's full of Silver Pair luff, so if you're offended by the gayness or the tennis playerness, then maybe it's not for you. G-rated, though, so nothing creepy or anything.
But yeah, I'll be posting it at
tori_shishi on Ohtori's birthday, so I guess this is just a little preview. Besides, you can help me figure out how to clean up the scan and stuff. ._.
It's nothing special, since I can't really draw, but I'm pretty happy with it, and I'm probably not going to do anything else to it. So yeah, here goes...

"Thank you, Shishido-san."
Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Haha, I'm a freak. I'm kyaing at my own crappy lineart (well, there're shadows, too, but they're those strange cel-shaded line shadow things I do sometimes... I call it "artistic"). ><
I'm really happy about how fuzzy Ohtori ended up looking, though. It's a frickin' fluke, but at least it happened... ^____^
And once I had that finished, it was about 03:30, and I was pretty hyper, so I decided to draw SD Shishido. But SD Shishido has to be SD for a reason... thus the White Day follow-up came into being (isn't it so convenient that Ohtori was born on St. Valentine's Day? XD)... This, of course, will be posted on White Day.
And it's a bit PG-13. Maybe. Because pulling an all-nighter is like a sugar-high where you laugh at everything and don't find anything morally questionable until you completely crash around 13:00 and end up unable to remember the second sentence of your Steinbeck memorization. ._.

"Happy White Day, Shishi--mmff!!"
.......... hahahahahahaha, I really need to get some sleep. ><
So yeah, if you know how to clean those scans up, let me know. Oh, Bu, if you want to color them, go ahead (but it's probably pretty hard to color pencil lineart, 'cause it's not clean). XDD

Date: 2006-01-16 17:32 (UTC)And thanks. I keep redoing little parts and stuff (e.g. shading and Shishido's hat), but I'm sure I'll be satisfied eventually. ^^;;

Date: 2006-01-17 02:55 (UTC)Though, I'm not entirely sure the results would be likeable.
What I used to do is work on it in paint... I could show you one of the remaining works I have left that I had finished in paint... after scanning and working for hours.
MS paint rocks the house.
