Apr. 20th, 2006 13:56My parents want me to work this summer, and even though I sort of want to get some credit hours in before school starts, it's probably better to get some extra pocket money. Therefore, my parents have been on a big job kick of sorts, and my dad has asked one of the people in the Engineering department (under Dr. Huang, actually) if I can help out there.
Daddy says to show up around 2:30 to talk to the woman in charge before I go to my doctor's appointment this afternoon.
Uhm, hello...? I'm the one who's supposed to be abusing my sick day, not you, Dad!
Hm, I love Family Matters. Of course someone puts a bomb in the treadmill that Carl's on. Brilliant.
Argh, AnimeMp3s.ORG is a mess. I suppose things are bound to change when you don't drop in for months and months, but seriously. It never used to be this spammy or clique-y -- the little, close-knit group of us that used to post regularly had nice, thoughtful posts and stuff. Now the place runs rampant with one-line "omg yeah"s and the most pointless posts ever. The top poster is some guy with over 10,300 posts... and he joined in December. That equates to 80 posts per day. I really can't imagine that all 80 of those posts is a nice, thoughtful (or in any way useful) posts. I mean, c'mon. ._.
I sort of don't want to go back. Considering the amount of spam-like activity flooding the place, I don't think that returning as an active member of the forum (which is basically my job, aside from making sure all the little parts of the site are working correctly) would be worth the enormous headache.
Augh, but I love that place. I really, really do. I just got a really nice PM from someone who wanted to say "hi" since he saw me online and hadn't seen me for a few months. ;____;
Ugh. *IS SO TOOOOOORN*
In other news, I remade the Fastball icon I made a long time ago (from a bunch of screenshots from The Way's music video), and I made a SUH-WEET fake-dramatic Ishida-kun icon. Too bad I'm not going to use either of them anytime soon, since they get to stay in my icon vault until I get a paid account. ._.
