You know, she didn't really mind not being able to check LJ at night because of rehearsal, nor did she mind having to sift through her f-list for a few hours before going to the next night's rehearsal, but when something like that gets in the way of being able to hear a specific person's sweet, sweet, too-genki Kansai-ben voice in her ear, NEZZY GETS ANGRY.
I love musicals, and I love the people I'm playing with/for, but I'm having a couple of issues with this musical (well, the production, I guess) in particular.
1. We're not ready. Really, really not ready. We haven't even run the entire thing through.
2. The higher-ups had to be cheap and insist that the musical be held in the smallest auditorium possible (thereby stuffing the pit behind the stage, where we can't see or hear the actors at all, and forcing the musical to run two weekends instead of one) instead of the stage we used last year, which was fully available and seats more than two people.
3. I didn't get to fangirl, wah. T_T
I'm being petty (especially about the Kamakari thing), I know, but now I feel even more incomplete [as a fangirl] than I did before. Hollow shell, whut? T_T
But it'll be fun. *hops to the other side of the fence* I love musicals. Especially this one... it's amazingly fun. >< And rehearsal was insane yesterday. I made an off-color comment about golf, and Alan and Neehar extended the metaphor so ridiculously well. For forty minutes. It got infinitely better when Rob (who came late because he's on a particular sports team -- take a wild guess as to which it is) exclaimed, "59 seconds, wow!" at just the right moment.
And here I thought tennis was the dirtiest sport. :D
Ah, yes, musical tonight! And I hate how I fluctuate... I can't decide whether I'm really angry about it or really excited about it. XDD
And hey, my mother apparently found my soulmate. Mommy's coworker's son, a senior at Penn, is going to study chemistry at Notre Dame. He also wants to study east-Asian languages in anticipation of studying abroad in Japan.
Oh, and he started an anime club at school.
O_o;;;;;;
Mew, remind me to read your essay later. I have to go now... I think I'm going to be late for call. ><;;
Ayu-chan, ♥. ^^
