1. I sneeze in groups of five. If I sneeze less than that, I feel emotionally empty for a few minutes (seriously). If I sneeze more than that, I feel accomplished.

2. I haven't forgotten about the lovespam posts. I just wanted to get the reciprocal ones shipped out first. :D

3. I take back ever saying I can't draw. I draw well enough. You can kind of tell who the characters are and stuff. It just takes a FRICKIN' LONG TIME. It took five hours to draw four pages last night. I still have six pages to go, if all goes as planned. And that's just the sketchy pencil rough draft. Without backgrounds. Then I have to draw the clean copy with all the random details, and then I have to ink it using the one size pen I have (I need different-sized pens, I say), and then I have to scan it and edit in all the text and do all the shading on the computer without a tablet and/or stylus.

And then maybe if it doesn't make me cry on the inside, I'll post a LQ version of it. And pimp the anthology it's going to be printed in. And encourage everyone to go to Malaysia and buy a copy. :D

4. My to-do list for tonight:
- finish placement essay for first-year writing seminar, GAHH IT'S DUE TODAY YOU FREAK
- edit Blood+ because I'm a loser and I've been sitting on it for, like, a week
- finish rough draft, cry into my pillow when I take back ever saying that I take back ever saying that I can't draw, because I can't draw

My friends at school have (had) fun with it. Once I'd start sneezing, everyone would stop work (often, the teacher would stop the lesson) and start counting. XD My high school record is 12, but I got something like 27 in grade school (regular sneezing + allergies + irritation + more regular sneezing). *nods* I'm a good sneezer.

I sneeze violently and often enough that it becomes a regular interlude. My English teacher in particular would stop reading/lecturing/whatever to watch, and then he'd laugh and say, "Are you okay?" before going on with the lesson.

Someone just told me over the weekend that sneezing multiple times is a sign of an allergy. I guess that's why I usually only sneeze once. ^_^

Heh, I think I have pollen allergies, but they just recently developed. Otherwise, I just sneeze a lot. Maybe I'm allergic to me. ;_;

5 hours for 4 pages is relatively quick, if you ask me. I spend 3-4 hours PER PAGE. Then, yes, there'll be inking and scanning and screentoning and text and i'll be spending half a day for two pages, and will never make the deadline.

So what i'm trying to say is, you're on the fast track. Yaaaaaaaay. And if you pimp SMASH! i will love you forever and ever. If we get enough excess profit to do more printing, i might sell it to people overseas. Just a thought.

Wahhh, I guess I'm just not patient enough, 'cause I seem really slow to me. XD BTW, do you know of any good tutorials on screentoning in Photoshop? I want to try to make it look as professional as possible, but usually I'm just like, "Mouse? Paintbrush? Winnar!" and it doesn't look so great.

Drawing manga is horrendously time consuming DX Tutorials, i think i saw a few but that was so long ago and i've lost the links. But what most of us do is to download digital screentones, load them onto PhotoShop as a pattern (my technique anyway) use the Pattern Stamp tool to paint on it. You can use greyscale colours instead of screentones but i like the dots XP

Yes yes yes, all contributors get sent a copy! I have a hunch the finished product will be rather thin though, around 30-35 pages is what i estimate. Maa, as long as it's good quality stuff >D
