Benji won So You Think You Can Dance! He was my favorite from the beginning (like Clay, who should have won American Idol, and who's more popular than Ruben is anyway). I'm so glad he won. He's so cute, aw. :3


And further proof that I still suck at katakana: I misread ライブ as "reipu" (though I can't see the little marks (forget what they're called, ahaha) on the FU very clearly on this computer). I panicked for a bit, wondering what Kusuda would start suddenly talking about rape for, but then I realized. Ah. It's "raibu". Ahahaha. >< I can't wait till I actually take a class on this stuff and learn it properly. And maybe I'll know more than five kanji by the end of the year. :D


P.S. The OLs are taking me out to lunch today, since it's my last day. How nice. :D

I really need to memorize these kana before I end up looking like a freak in front of my Japanese teacher. >< The hiragana are easier, for some reason -- I never get the hiragana RA and RE mixed up. Maybe it's because they're so different and pretty. Stupid katakana, ahhhhh. :O

Rockstar. My mother likes that one. *shrugs* I liked watching people dance (and Benji's sooooo cute), so there's that. Oh, Simon Cowell's going to have his Celebrity Duets show soon (will you be able to watch it in far-far-away land?). That should be interesting. XD

I usually have trouble telling apart the katakana for "shi" and "n" because they look too similiar T^T The worst part is when i want to write it but it just doesn't come to me and i go AAAAAAAAAAA. Then hours later i'll randomly remember and feel like biting something. But hello, my grammar sucks really, really bad, so i just avoid writing Jap in general XD;;

I think I have trouble with katakana just because they're all straight and jagged and stuff. I haven't bothered learning them is all. *loser*

I can only keep up with one reality TV show per season, and this summer was Dance. So there. :P

It's really kanji that still mixes me up. xDDD;; Erk, how many kanji do I know by heart? I know a few and can, like, recognize the Hyoutei boys' names in kanji, but uh... that's it. xD;

I think the little marks are called "tenten", but it's been a while, so I might be remembering wrong. xD; What really annoys me is when furigana is written so small, esp. on stuff for the "ha" series, where, y'know, it's so small you can't tell if it's a little circle or the tenten. xDDD;; "Is that raibu or raipu?" Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. ♥

Hahaha, I can recognize "Shishido Ryou", "Ohtori Choutarou", and "Kamakari Kenta" (and maybe a few others). I usually can recognize a few verbs, nouns, and adjectives depending on the context, and the rest I have to look up or make up. >_>;;

Ah, it might be "tenten". I read it in one of my kanji dictionaries and promptly forgot it for the rest of my life. ^^;; And I love furigana, but yeah, it needs to be big, or else people get confused. XD
