'cause you pronounce "pot" like "pah-t". I dunno. Maybe it's an east coast thing (or something), 'cause my hall seems pretty split on it. ^^;;

「ファイヤ」 sounds about right. :D Well, I say "fire" like a normal person, methinks. On that one colloqialism/accent meme, I ended up not having a regional accent, even though I should. So maybe I should really be saying it "fiyaaaa", but whatevs. :3
