Ahh, mem'ries!
May. 16th, 2004 21:03I just found an old diary of mine... let me share with you some of my favorite entries.
May 8, 1997
Hi, diary! I'm writing in a whole new fashion! I'm not writing private junk.
SCHOOL!!
I'm the smartest person in my class. Heck! I'm the smartest 3rd grader in the whole school! I'm smarter than my brother. Well, sort of.

Two days ago I wrote about me being smarter than my brother. Well, sort of. I know much more in annoying people than he does, but then again, annoying people isn't very nice.
[babbling about how I could have skipped a grade but didn't because of my brother]
----
I just got an Inside USA Diving magazine. It is a neat magazine. It talks about famous divers.

Today was a PBA day at school so we didn't have any school today. I stayed home and did home stuff.
November 22, 1997
Man! I just lost in Nintendo! Andika (my brother) and I own a SNES. We were playing Mario Kart, GP style, and I wasn't in the rankings! I got game over. That stinks.
P.S. I like (I have a crush on) ! No one except Rachel, Anne, Victoria, and I know who is! So if you're not Inez [middle name] [last name], ha, ha, ha!

Today I am so relieved. You see, I used to be Jennifer [last name]'s Secret Santa, to give Jennifer [last name] gifts for the Christmas season. Today at school, we got to guess who our Secret Santas were. Miss Schilderink, my teacher, pulled a stick out of the name jar, and the stick said 'Jennifer.'
Jennifer picked me right off the back. She was right!
I pounded my hand on my desk. "How did you know?" I asked, astonished.
"Well," she said, "when you gave me the clues, the first one was 'I like school.' From then on, I suspected you as my Secret Santa."
She started to open her present. She struggled as she made her way through the thick rapping. She finally got to her present.
"Oh! It's so cute!" she exclaimed.
"What is it?" everyone asked.
"It's a beanie baby!" replied Jenny.
After the gift exchanged, every time I saw Jenny, she was playing with her new beanie, Valentino.
She smiled as she said to Valentino, "You're SO cute!"
I felt happy, just like Jenny did.
Yeah, so that was fun. X.x;; I used to be such a weird kid in the 3rd and 4th grades... >_>
