This past week has been crazy. Briefly:
New York was great fun. We went to the Brooklyn Museum to see ©MURAKAMI (Murakami Takashi's exhibit; really freaking interesting). We also walked around a lot and enjoyed the snazzy hotel. On Monday was a visit to the Strand bookstore (biggest used bookstore in the world) as well as to Central Park, just to walk around, after the rain let up. Food stops: vegetarian Indian restaurant, Yoshinoya beef bowl, authentic tonkatsu restaurant, Chinese bakery, Vietnamese pho restaurant (when we were back in Philly). If I were smart, I'd've taken pictures like
athena8, but I was too busy ungracefully stuffing my face.
Isaac graduated on Sunday (Summa, that dirty bastard)! Also, I got to hang out with his family all weekend, and they're just about the most wonderful, beautiful people ever (and I guess they like me...?). They even helped me schlep all of my stuff to the summer apartment.
I'm currently in the process of making it possible to walk through my apartment. I really have no idea how I have so much stuff, but I do, and it's literally taking up the entire living room. Will has much less stuff, but he does have a futon (well, we co-own it now, I suppose) that we had to move at an ungodly hour in the morning yesterday so that I could go see Isaac before I left for work and he left with his dad for an East Coast roadtrip. And Andrew has yet to come back from visiting his fam-fam at home (I guess), but he's supposed to be here Thursday afternoon. Hopefully he won't die when he sees the mess that Track Boy left in his side of the boys' bedroom.
I'm not living with Harrison this summer. I've already shed tears of great sorrow.
I'm working at Networking and Computing Systems at Haverford for the summer, and I'm also helping make flash videos for a French professor. I'ma actually know stuff about computers soon... it's cool.
Isaac'll be back for a night next week, and then he's back in Idaho (youdaho!) and then he's visiting Haverford again for the first week of July. And then he's going to Valpo to visit his grandparents before going via Chicago to Japan on July 26th. Wah! What a jet setter.
